The applications for the Minneapolis Area Construction Apprenticeship Program are taken in November and the HVAC/R Service Program applications in January. * You must apply for the apprenticeship program during the two week period that the applications are open and meet all of the minimum qualifications (see below).

* You need to bring a photo copy of your driver's license and a photo copy of your High School Diploma or GED; high school transcripts are acceptable in place of the diploma. If you are applying for the HVAC/R Service Program, you will also need a photo copy of your completion certificate and transcripts from a two-year technical college HVAC/R program.

* You must pass the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (Form V) and the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test which measures your verbal and math skills to the twelfth grade level.

* All applicants that pass the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (Form V) and Wonderlic Basic Skills Test will be invited to an oral interview where the applicants will be ranked, the person with the most points will be at the top of the list, and as the jobs become available the names will be pulled from the list in descending order.
