Information
Applications for the apprenticeship program are
open for two weeks each year. The applications for
the Minneapolis Area Construction Apprenticeship
Program are taken in November and the HVAC/R Service
Program applications in January. Applications for
the apprenticeship program for the St. Cloud area
are taken in February. The specific dates are listed
on the Home Page under News and Events.
Application process
* You must apply for the apprenticeship program
during the two week period that the applications
are open and meet all of the minimum qualifications
(see below).
* You need to bring a photo copy of your driver's
license and a photo copy of your High School Diploma
or GED; high school transcripts are acceptable in
place of the diploma. If you are applying for the
HVAC/R Service Program, you will also need a photo
copy of your completion certificate and transcripts
from a two-year technical college HVAC/R program.
* You must pass the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam
(Form V) and the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test which
measures your verbal and math skills to the twelfth
grade level.
* All applicants that pass the Wonderlic Scholastic
Level Exam (Form V) and Wonderlic Basic Skills Test
will be invited to an oral interview where the applicants
will be ranked, the person with the most points will
be at the top of the list, and as the jobs become
available the names will be pulled from the list
in descending order.
All applicants will be notified by mail with the
results of the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (Form
V), Wonderlic Basic Skills Test and the Interview
Results.
